Skincere: All Natural Skincare

A few months ago, I was lucky enough to win the whole range of Skincere goodies from a giveaway over on London Beauty Queen's blog. I've had them for a while now but have only just got round to blogging about them as life got in the way a little bit. Yep, I'm going with that excuse. I'd seen them mentioned on a few other blogs and was really intrigued by the concept behind the brand.

The Skincere range is 100% natural and the website claims that "Skincere has been formulated with hypoallergenic, soothing ingredients to help restore the complexities of our skin, without the use of harsh synthetic chemicals and preservatives. Focused on creating ultra-soothing formulations, Skincere is aimed at those suffering from sensitive skin and intolerances, including soya, dairy, wheat and nut allergies, or for those who just want to be true to their skin". 

Whilst I've never felt the need to reach for products free from so many ingredients, this range would be perfect for anyone with an intolerance to any of the above. Whilst I couldn't find the company on Leaping Bunny or PETA, they do claim to not test on animals and are suitable for vegetarians & vegans. All good to know. 

I've been trialling them out for a while now and overall I'm really impressed! My favourites out of the range are definitely the eye serum and the cream cleanser. The eye serum is perfect for mornings as it really makes me feel that little bit more awake. I also love using the cleanser in the mornings as it's light enough for a first cleanse. I still prefer using an oil or balm in the evening, but this is The moisturisers are lovely too but I'm not overly keen on the smell, although it's a very natural smell so no complaints over added fragrances. 

I feel like this range would be really lovely for teen skin or sensitive as it's very gentle. Whilst I love most of the range, the moisturisers aren't quite enough for my dry skin and I found that the face serum doesn't do an awful lot for me. However, I've found it really soothing on days when my skin feels a little irritated. I managed to sunburn my nose a few days ago and I popped the serum in the fridge for a while and slathered my face in it before bed and it was wonderfully cooling. Whilst it won't get rid of scarring or wrinkles, it does feel lovely and smooth.
