BOHEM Nails

Hello there! Long time no see! The past two weeks have been a bit manic with uni work and I've barely had time to blog so apologies for my absence! But now that's all uploaded and submitted I'm back to blogging and today I'm bringing you a review of the wonderful BOHEM Nails*.

So, about a week ago the lovely ladies at BOHEM NAILS sent me these beautiful nails to try out. If you've never heard of BOHEM Nails before they are basically a company who specialise in nail jewellery (sterling silver or 24 carat gold plated!) and other kinds of jewellery too! They're based in Birmingham and their motto is to "Stand out. Show off" which is something that as a fairly shy person I should do more! Let's take a peek at them shall we?...

Upon opening the package, the first thing I noticed was all the little extras they come with! We've got a silver polishing cloth to keep the nails nice and shiny, a nail file, 12 adhesive tabs for applying the nails, an instruction booklet and also a product guide which is all super handy. The second thing I noticed was how incredibly cool the box that the nails come in is! It's this cool little black window box with a clicky magnetic open/close system (kind of like those snap on bracelets we all had at school) and I admittedly did sit and play with the box for a good 5 minutes before actually delving inside. I've tried to capture it's awesomeness on camera but I'm not sure I've done the best job, but trust me it is so so so satisfying.

Just a heads up that these ones are sterling silver, reusable and come in a range of sizes (S, M & L). They're designed to be worn as accent nails, as you can see from the picture I've included below, and you can also get them matching or mix and match your styles depending on whatever you fancy!

The style I was sent were the Gothic Wave (10023) and I think they look pretty cool on! Admittedly, I do think these are slightly too long for my natural nails which are quite short, but if you're a big lover of falsies then this will look super cool with those. I actually have a pack that I've been meaning to blog about so I may include this piece again when I've got longer nails on as I think it'll look perfect then! Another thing I noticed about these was how easy they were to apply. There's lots of helpful info on their website that guides you pretty well. The sticky adhesive tabs included make it so easy to apply and last a really long time too. I wore these on a night out at uni (which was space fancy dress!) and got heaps of compliments from friends & strangers who were all keen to know where they were from. Oh, and if anyone was wondering I went dressed as a Clanger! (If you're not sure what they are have a quick watch on YouTube).

These nails are available to buy at www.bohem.co.uk or on www.amazon.co.uk and there's an impressive selection available!

I would highly recommend checking out their Instagram (here) and their Twitter (here) as they post a lot of amazing pictures that give you some really cool ideas of different designs and also different ways to wear them.

Let me know what you think!
