Going ga ga for mascara...

Poor rhyme I know, but hey at least I tried! Crap rhymes aside, let's get down to business. There's a new mascara on the block, as there is every month, but this one is something special. I spotted it being highly promoted by bloggers and celebrities (you've probably seen their half done eye makeup instagram promo posts) and although I wasn't sent this for free like they were, I am very happy to highly sing its praises. The mascara in question is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara.

Uh, that rosey goldy pink colour gets me every time! Now the brush on this isn't the usual kind of brush I favour. With having quite naturally long lashes I find these types can make my lashes look a bit twig-esque and spikey so I tend to reach for the big brushes that mascaras like The Falsies tend to offer, in order to get more volume. However, this one pleasantly suprised me!

I'm rather pleased with the volume, length and curl that this gives! It does claim to have layering properties, something which I cannot vouch for as I only applied a quick sweep, but I am very impressed with it overall. Then again, I don't think Maybelline ever go wrong with mascara (except that awful green & pink number). If you're after a new mascara that lengthens, adds volume, separates well and like pretty coloured packaging then this one is most certainly for you! I think it was around £7.99 which is a steal for such a good addition to your makeup bag.

Have you tried this out yet? Or is it on your 'to buy' list? (We all have one of those!)
