Feeling festive (15 days late...)

A festive night wouldn't be complete without red lips and a gold smoky eye, so here you go...

A little late I know, but seeing as I'm a blogging newbie I figured I can be let off for posting my Christmas Eve outfit a little late! My friend throws a big Christmas Eve party every year and it's the perfect chance to get dressed up super Christmassy (as before Christmas I'm bombarded with deadlines and Christmas Day is spent in pyjamas). So here's what I wore and also what I slapped on my face that day.

Makeup:

Foundation: Laura Mercier Mineral Powder. Concealer: Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation Fluid (small amounts on areas that need it). Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte. Contour: Sleek Contour Kit. Blusher: Nars Orgasm. Highlighter: Mac Soft and Gentle Mineralise Skin Finish. Eyeshadow: Mac Painterly Paint Pot and the shades Halfbaked, Smog and Darkhorse from the original Urban Decay Naked Palette. Eyeliner: Loreal Superliner Perfect Slim and Mac's Teddy under the eye. Mascara: Maybelline the Falsies Black Drama. Brows: Mac Charcoal Brown & Rimmel Brow This Way eyebrow gel. Lips: Mac Ruby Woo (you can't beat it!!)

Set with: Mac Fix +.

I also curled my hair with my Babyliss Curling Wand and added a slick of Essie's Head Mistress to my nails to go all matchy matchy with my lips.

I apologise in advance for the awful mirror selfie. This wasn't planned to be turned into a blog post but I'll try and get some proper pictures of my outfit and swap them for this poor excuse of a photo when I get a chance! Anyhoo,
